The ecological youth association “Zeleni centar” is a non-governmental organization from Nikšić dedicated to environmental protection, preservation of natural resources and the development of ecological awareness in the local community.
Through projects, educational activities, field work and cooperation with citizens, experts and institutions, the organization encourages a more responsible attitude towards nature and the active participation of young people in social and environmental processes.
The protection of nature begins with knowledge, cooperation and action.
A special place in the work of organizations is occupied by the education of young people, strengthening of environmental awareness and the development of activism. Through workshops, campaigns, forums, public discussions, training and field activities, modern knowledge and positive European and international experiences in the field of environmental protection are approached for young people.
The organization develops and supports activities that contribute to healthier lifestyles, volunteerism, solidarity, sports and a more active attitude of young people towards their community.

Miloš Džiknić
Miloš Džiknić is the executive director of the ecological youth association “Green Center”, specialists in biology and ecology and a master political scientist in the field of environmental policies. His professional and academic work connects natural and social sciences, with special interest in environmental protection, renewable energy sources, green transition and active participation of citizens in shaping sustainable policies.
Through local projects, research work and participation in national and international forums, Miloš advocates for practical connection of science, ecology, energy and public policies. As a representative of Montenegro, he also participated in the World Youth Congress for Climate Change in Milan, while he devoted his master’s work to the development of solar and wind energy and the role of ecological policy in the energy transition of Montenegro.
