The Trebjesa park forest, due to its natural characteristics, great scientific importance, aesthetic and landscape value, was placed under protection as a special natural area at the end of 2000. Through this platform, we want to bring the values closer to the general public and encourage greater interest in getting to know, monitoring and preserving this important protected area.

The project “Trebjesa Biomap” represents the creation of a bilingual digital platform dedicated to the presentation of biodiversity and natural values of the Trebjesa park-forest. Through an interactive map, selected sites, types and educational facilities, the platform brings Trebjes closer to citizens, visitors, tourists and schools in a modern, viewed and interesting way.

Content of BioMap Application
The BioMap application combines selected localities, species data, protected zones and educational content in a unique interactive display. Users can explore Trebjes through clickable points on the map, disclose information about plants and animals, view photos and video material and better understand the natural values of this space.
Special folder layers show localities, habitats, protected zones, and relevant data presented through the platform.

Field data is collected, processed and prepared for entry. Full access to the application will be enabled after the second phase of the project.

Get to know, follow and protect the nature of Trebjesa together with us. Citizens, visitors and nature lovers can report interesting plant and animal species, as well as environmental problems such as waste, fire, vegetation damage or other changes in the area.
It is enough to send a photo, a brief description and a location via an online form. Applications are further directed to the competent services and the professional team, in accordance with the type of application, in order to contribute to better monitoring of the situation in the field and the preservation of the Trebjesa park-forest.

From forest communities to rare and protected plants, Flora Trebjese represents an important part of her natural identity.In the framework of the BIOMAP application, species names, expert descriptions, photos, data on habitats and locations where they are recorded will be available.
Fauna of Trebjesa
Birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects and other groups of organisms form a complex and valuable ecosystem of the Trebjesa park-forest. BIOMAP will provide an overview of recorded species, characteristics, protection status and connection with different localities.
Eco info-boards and QR connection
Six eco-info-tabs with bilingual content and QR codes will be placed at selected locations of Trebjesa Park Forest. By scanning the QR code, visitors will be able to open digital content connected to a specific locality, learn more about the species present and directly access the BIOMAP application. In this way, the physical space of Trebjese becomes connected to the modern digital guide that is available on the phone, tablet and computer.
